Carson Witherite

Carson Witherite, Senior Choir Director,  is a graduate of Commonwealth University - Mansfield. He completed studies in Music Education and Music Performance with a vocal emphasis under the supervision of Dr. Peggy Dettwiler. During Carson's undergraduate studies, he was selected out of five students across the state of Pennsylvania to participate in the American Choral Directors Association of Pennsylvania's conducting masterclass. Off the podium, Carson has been a concert soloist, even singing the bass solos in Handel's Messiah.

The Senior Choir at Grove Presbyterian Church sings weekly for worship services and welcomes singers high school age and older. Additionally, Carson directs the Grove Community Choir, which is an emerging community chorus in our area that is sponsored by Grove Presbyterian Church. If you have a love for singing, reach out. When not at Grove, Carson works as a Music Teacher at the Danville Area School District and spends time with his wife, Jessica, and daughter Petra.
