New to the position in August 2026, Jessica Witherite is excited to share her love of music and Christ with the youth of Grove Presbyterian Church. A native of the Susquehanna Valley, Jessica brings both professional vocal training and personal experience with youth choirs, having participated in junior and youth choirs throughout her school and community years. Her experiences as a young singer give her a special understanding of the joys, challenges, and friendships that come from making music together.

Jessica graduated from Mansfield University of Pennsylvania in 2023 with a degree in Vocal Performance. As a gifted vocalist, she has enriched worship at Grove through her musical involvement with our Sanctuary and Community Choirs. Her training in a variety of musical genres will allow her to provide young singers with a diverse musical experience while helping them explore the many ways music can express faith and glorify God.

As Junior/Youth Choir Director, Jessica will be introducing our young singers to hand chimes and continuing their involvement in worship through intergenerational music and drama. She is trained in the same techniques as our Sanctuary Choir Director, so our youth will be well-prepared for the Senior/Sanctuary Choir in the future.

Jessica is thrilled to be part of the Grove staff in a role that allows her to share two things of importance to her: her love of music and her love of Christ. She looks forward to helping young people discover the joy of singing, grow in confidence, and find their own place in the musical life of the church.



Married to Carson Witherite (our Sanctuary Choir Director), she treasures spending time with him and her very favorite new person in the world, baby Petra Jo; she’s also a county fair prize winner for her crocheting.
